    Hey there,

I am a newbie to unity and wanted to learn to create a simple project using unity and I chose 2D Roguelike.
When going through the Unity Tutorials I needed to download it's assets and there I was shot to a upgrade error to 4.6.1 from 4.5.1 .

And so hence , I downloaded 4.6.1 archive from the Unity website "http://unity3d.com/get-unity/download/archive" How do I install the ZIP folder ??

I tried extracting it and placing it in the unity folder and then in the data folder within the unity folder both the time I ended with failure. Unity showed its version to be 4.5.1

The only ZIP files at that link are for built-in shaders. They are not patches to update Unity.

You want to click on the installer link, not the download link (which downloaded the shaders).
