When I upgraded my project to Unity 2022.2.0f1, I noticed all of my addressable groups had disappeared. Looking at git status, it didn't seem any of the addressable files had changed. When I reverted the addressables package to 1.20.5, the groups reappeared. To confirm the behavior, I then upgraded it back to 1.21.1 and the groups once again disappeared. When opening up the addressables groups panel, I just get the "Create Addressables Settings" button. If I click that I get a bunch of missing references in a list and a warning about no script asset for AddressableAssetSettingsDefaultObject.

Has anyone else seen this issue or know of a resolution?

    Thanks!

Hi @Andrew010110 I'm having trouble reproducing the issue on a new 2022.2 project. What Unity version you were using previously? I would recommend submitting a bug report with a sample project if possible.

Yea so when I did my migration, I was on 2022.2.0b12 before jumping up to 2022.2.0f1. I did a sanity check with a new project as you mentioned and it worked so I suspect its some odd series of events that caused it to fail when upgrading as I did eventually get it to work by toying with some of the metadata. I had to do the same with the input system package at the time. Now when I roll back to the git revision for the project that had the issue and do the upgrade I can't reproduce the issue unfortunately.

I had the same problem. How do you work with the metadata? which metadata? Thank you very much.
