Hi everyone. I'm currently using the indie version of 4 and am nearing that point in development when upgrading to a pro liscense is necessary. Not really knowing whether unity 5 will be unpolished on release compared to where 4 is currently do you think ita worth buying the pro liscense of 4 to distribute my game, or waiting for 5 to be released?

If you purchase now you'll get Pro 4 and Pro 5 when it is released.

Is that a limited time offer? Where does one find that information? :)

It is a limited time offer ending when Unity 5 is released.

Right now when you purchase it is actually a pre-order for Unity 5 (there is no choice to buy Unity 4).

You get Unity 4 along with your pre-order.

It's actually not a limited time offer. Upgrading a Unity 4 Pro license to a Unity 5 Pro license is currently discounted to $600, and that offer will end when Unity 5 is released (going back to the usual $750). But if you don't have Pro yet in the first place then there's no discount, so you can buy at any time and the price will be the same ($1500). A Unity 5 license also covers all previous versions; in fact it's no longer possible to buy a Unity 4 license.
