    any eta about all these new goodies??
    -I'm new to playmaker and I'm plannig to purchase this system and your survival asset too especially for learinig pourposes.. do you think it'sa good idea?do plan to add an inventory system to it with player ammo and consumables like food , health , anmd so on? and how hard should be to add or integrate an exisitng save system form asset store to survival system?

    Hello,

    I cannot suggest any asset for the save system. However, if you are experienced, you can easily handle this job.
    The features you mentioned are only available in my survival asset. This asset is perfect for you to learn Playmaker. :)

    Sincerely i'm goging to purchase all you assets (survival prototype ,zombie survival kit and fps parkour) andhope i can manage to fit them togheter .. or some part of them togheter to compensate missing features from an asset to another..

    btw I have even another question for you..

    is your steam fps game Zombie Killing simualtor done all with playeer too ? or you needed to integrate even some classic c# custom code? and
    by your experience.. could be playamker capable to be used to create a complete game form start to finish? or maybe Game Creator form Catsoft Studios could be a better option?

    I have these assets, so perhaps I can answer this one. Yes, these assets are great resources for learning Playmaker (on top of traditional resources) and with some experience, it is possible to mix and match features from the different assets. It's not an out of the box solution, but definitely achievable, no custom C# code required. All required actions are either included with Playermaker, this asset or any additional actions can be found via the Playmaker community. Lastly, I don't think Game Creator is a better choice. Sure, it provides some more specific stuff out of the box, but requires a lot of extra paid modules all of which may not even get you what you want. For example, forget about making a FPS with Game Creator, the controller is terrible as is the weapon handling and feeling. It's fine if the player remains static, in a fixed position and is simply aiming and shooting in first person, but beyond that, it's terrible. Playmaker is more of a broader tool, and can be used to create anything really. I own the survival and Zombie FPS assets from Mela Games, and I recommend them both. They're not expensive at all and are great templates with a lot of features, all implemented via Playmaker, which makes them even easier to modify and extend for your own game. Hope that helps.

    85% of my game was made with Playmaker. You can make huge games with just the playmaker. :)

    Just got your Advanced Survival Kit. A+++ for being able to do it all in playmaker! It would be a benefit to your customers and add tremendous value to the product if you can add comments to help explain the FSMs. I am sure many are buying to learn playmaker from a master like you. I for one would get all of your packs if they include comments in the FSMs to help explain the logic and project in more detail. Why stop short when you have the hard work done? Thanks again for offering these projects.

    Sometimes I can't even explain the things I do. Yeah, I'm a little lazy to add comments. I named the FSMs and I tried to make them look good.
    However, if there is something you are wondering about FSMs, you can ask. I can try to explain the logic.

    Maybe even a video walkthrough of the project, the structure, and the FSMs? I'm sure you talking and explaining things would go a very long way towards helping people understand what's going on.

    Hi!
    when i run DemoScene the controller does not respond to keyboard and mouse
    Console throws no errors
    What could be the problem?

    Up (Restarting Unity helped, but when shooting Game Mode freez)

    Update
    Found a solution (problem solved!)
    1. Install Playmaker
    2. Install Zombie Prototype Shooter
    !!! Do not load any project settings when importing !!!
    3. Open the DEMOSCENE
    4. Make Content Update under HDRP
    5. Set the settings according to the instructions and turn on Input System (old)
    6. Restart Unity
    Everything works!

    Hi, i bought this asset and it worked well besides two little problems.
    1. I get these "wait for collision" like tags in the game and in the menu.

    2. When the player died, he spawn always under the terrain or plane and fall.

    Could you please explaine how i fix these two errors?

    1. This is a Playmaker feature. Find PlaymakerGUI in the hierarchy. Make settings like this:

    2. Move the spawnpoints in the scene a little higher.

    Thank you but i do not have a spawnpoint in my own new scene.
    I wish there where a tutorial on how to set up my own scene with some more information how it should work together.
    If i just put the checkpoint prefab into the scene it is still the same problem with the player just spawn under the terrain.

    Make sure the fixed time step is 0.01.

    I could fix the first problem with the video and your help.
    But the second problem with the respawning did not work.
    I do not know how to use the checkpoint the right way.
    I just droped it into the scene and tryed to upper the spawn point but that did not work.
    It just spawn the new player below the terrain like without the checkpoint in the scene.

    Edit:
    Now i understand how the Checkpoint system works.
    But how can i spawn the player when he do not entered the first checkpoint. Until now the player spawn under the terrain so there must be a spawn point even when i do not use the checkpoint system but i can not find it.

    Edit2:
    Ok, i now just have placed the first checkpoint directly over the place where the player is placed at the beginning so now i can let him respawn where i want.
    Ist that the right way?

    Hey! Fantastic asset for the price. Honestly got it just for the character controller alone and it's great. Im using the new input system so I had to switch everything over but that diddn't take too long!

    However the only thing I can't seem to figure out, is how to make the lean stop/not work if you're too close to a wall, because as it is now, I can stick my head into walls and see through geometry. Any ideas for a simple solution?

    EDIT: Figured it out, made a Peek checker with a right and left raycast at head level, only letting you peek if the ray doesn't hit, or canceling the peek if it does.

    I totally agree with you this asset has respawned problem and the owner has not fix it or finding ways to solve it this very disappointing how can we build a game with these assets it is not stable

    Your respawn point is likely set too low, spawning the player under the floor.

    Easy fix for that, you have your pivot set to 'Center' in the top left (above the scene tab) Set it to pivot.

    I watched the video, but the Game view is blue in URP; however, I can see the grenade and health UI.

    Go to this link bro this asset create by the owner too and he show how to solve it how ever in this asset he not yet tell about how to fix blue screen but I already fix it

    Open the FPSController prefab. Select the WeaponCamera. Change Render Type to Overlay.

    2.
    Select MainCamera. Add the WeaponCamera to the stack of MainCamera.

    for respawn I fix the problem by move checkpoint green box when it start and make it trigger with fpscameracontroller then after I die I respawn with no problem how ever this should not be how to fix problem

    Go to FPSController > Death FSM > Variables

    Now you can edit the Spawn Point Position and Rotation variables.
    They should be in World Vector3.
