    Information

A weapon customization system for Unity 5.4.

This package includes the system, an example scene and some image effects.

You don't have to use any coding when using this, everything is done in the system itself.

(just realized that I have spelled "Separate" "Seperate" the whole time, I apologize for this mistake..)

    Updates

Recently updated this system to v1.2, now the attachments changes in game too!

    Tutorials

I will create video tutorials on how to setup the system and add new attachments, you can find my channel here: https://goo.gl/CJa8U6

    Pictures & GIFs

Here's a GIF of the system in action: http://imgur.com/a/ug8UM

hey man your job is great,
i was wondering if there was any way to actually make difference between different types of attachments in the game when we play it?
for example when i change my barrel gun to type 2 i want that barrel to actually cause more damage.
how do i determine that my gun attachments has changed? and based on that changed my guns functionality should be changed as well

Hey, sorry for super late answer but yes there is. I would simply create a PlayerPrefs float that communicates with the other variable, for example, damage float. It's a really simple task to do but it's of course not effective in the long run. I suggest that you learn how to create a php type of database if you are creating a multiplayer type of game so the players can get their attachments and such from any computer. Hope this helps and if you are unsure how to do any of these tips google PlayerPrefs and storing variables in a database! :)

what if you're using this as reference for building another gun mod system, or are just using this on its own because it looks nice?

Can you specify what you mean? If you are asking about my permission rules, it's basically non existing. If you want to copy it or mod it, do it. :)

I want to use this for a "semi-professional project." It's for a high school shared stem campus, one of those specialized skill buildings for specific classes outside of the core stuff. It legally is a game studio and can sell the game my team and I make. So I wanted to clarify the read-me before we started using it. If the game could be sold and distributed, is it ok to use your system if we credit you? (Technically, it's a school assignment AND an official game. That's why I'm asking)
