    multiplayer build made with M2H multiplayer tutorial tut! plus lots of other stuff found on the forum!

    this is just a basic multiplayer shooter setup, both server and client mode in the same build!
    type your nick start as host, no masterserver is running.
    it is set to use unity master server,... i think...


    finally got uv mapping pipeline working and i present some initial test models, buildings roads and and car.. comments welcome on those!



    the car is accessable one time only, in and out, then it stop working. walk up to driver window and press E to enter and press E to exit again."still alot of issues with this, but i feel im almost there!

    question!
    enter exit car!
    would i be best to merge all scripts onto one player/gameobject and turn on and off what is needed or switch game objects on demand and apply player string to new object?



    destructable and deformable objects are defined from one script and attach rellevant component,s at runtime to children!
    clases are :
    destructable wood.
    destructable Stone.
    deformable metal.

    currently working on:
    that damn transition between player and vehicle.
    destructable explosives.
    trying to get my head around coding a ctf style gameplay with two teams.

    dropbox is a good place where you could place a unity webplayer.

    also, 000webhost is also another free choice

    thx falin.

    after testing unity, ive got the basics of importing models from realsoft into unity, prefabing and setting up terrain "no terrain in the test"
    i coded my first line a week ago and still dont know how i made it work...

    my goal is cs.... City Shooter!
    the idea is to model my hometown and have it run as a online world.

    with this test i have reached my limit as of today.

    so i am thinking about inviting a coder and a character animator to the project.

    Way cool ! .. but my laptop dont like it ...it lags so bad.. im gonna try this game of yours later on today like in 6 hours or so with my huge computer that has a gb video card 4gb of ram and im sure it will be awesome then ! Great job so far ! Keep up the good work... i hope to play the finished game too ! Cool idea you got there.. like it is your neighbourhood ..lol..oh for the record : my laptop is a p4 2.8 ghz with 1 gb ram and 64 mb vid.. postal 2 works sweetly on this laptop too ... maybe that will help with lag fixing ? .. i dunno how to fix laggy games ..how is that done ? i might have to do that with my game too.. oh wait a minute, i already tried my game with this laptop so im good..ooops srry im blabbing 2 much... good luck !

    nice idea, bit like ssx i think it was called!
    will it be snowboard or skateboard?
    did u make, rig and animate the punker model yourself?

    thanks agenda ! glad you like my idea of the game im making .. my main idea of the game is right there and now that it is accomplished, i dont know what im going to do with it yet .. the hardest part is done (grinding upsidedown, sideways and everywhich way) as for the punk model, i bought it for a pretty penny and remodelled it ...it was rigged when i bought it with the wrong animations so i changed the animations myself .. i wanted to make the main part of the game fast and i was successful .... i might make a different punk later on that would probably be near the same or even make a different main character..i dunno yet

    Your game is awesome ! I even found and drove your race car around ! The gun models were not textured on my computer though(big rig) but i assume you will be texturing them later.. is it suppose to stay dark so long ? the slider on the top left that shows the time i guess just slowly goes to the right and stays at the right.. is that suppose to happen and you stay in the dark forever ?

    the day/nightcycle stop and stay at 24.00, but that is easy to fix, just istantiate a new daycycle at the right time!
    and yes alot of the model are not textured yet!
    with time this will change!......
