I'm trying to determine how fast I can communicate back and forth to the webplayer. I'm sending something to the webplayer every update(). Is the update rate supposed to be the same as the frame rate?

So far in my experiments I get around 30 fps communication back and forth to the webplayer, but the fps frame rate says 1500. I'm using the unify fps (non gui) version to determine framerate.

Playing around with Application.targetFrameRate = 100; Did not seem to change the result.

The results are about the same in the editor just looking at Debug.Logs. They are much slower than the frame rate. I get about 600 Debug.Logs in 10 seconds, but the frame rate is listed at 1600.

By definition, Update runs once per frame.
