Update minor version in program?

    Is there a way to update from 4.3.4f1 to 4.5 directly in Unity, or do I have to re-download the entire Unity application? I'm on a Mac, and checking for updates says that 4.3.4f1 is the latest version of Unity.

    You have do re download Unity again

    Unity does that every Time on puspose, that way they can find bugs befor the Update gets to every user. If you want to have it now than download it following the link in the annoucment thread. But I suggest to wait until the first "patch" is out and that is normally the point when you will also see the Update right inside Unity

    Okay, thanks. In my opinion, it should at least say "Unity 4.5 is available, if you would like to update, please download it manually", because I've just been assuming I'm running the latest version of unity for a while :)
