    Hey everyone,

I thought I would share progress with my current game - Untitled Space Adventure.

I have managed to develop a mix between 2.5D space exploration and 3D planet walking with the hope of making a unique sandbox type game. However I am still trying to figure out the strategy and develop a story

Any advice on direction would be much appreciated.

Development progress can also be found at akstudio.co.nz.

    Early development video:

    3D planet walking

Mini map and current planet tagging

    Comets

    Orbiting debris

    Thanks for watching!

    Hey, that looks really cool!

I like the lighthearted looking character style and the kind of playful vibe the whole thing has. Really cool work. =)

Hey. This looks really interesting! I really like the look of the game. A question: Will you be able to build ships? Also, will you be able to own planets and build stuff on it for example defenses?

They are some really good questions. I am a little unsure where to go with the direction at the moment. It is a little empty. I'm trying to make it an exploratory space game, without too much complexity.

I will definitely take these ideas on board and see what I can make of them.

    Thanks!

It does look great, don't loose the feel and try to keep the game play simple and fun... Nice work.

    Thank you!

I have built the core mechanics, now I need to think of objectives and story...

    Any advice would be welcomed!
