Hi, I have a mecanim character whose weapons are rendered on and off through animation events. This works well for arming and holstering. However, a duplicate of the weapon appears in the game world. Further duplicates continue to be created as the events are fired. They even appear in the animation preview window. They are not selectable and don't exist in the heirarchy. Any Ideas if this is a unity fault or if I should try another approach. Thanks.
