( Unoffical ) What do you think about Autodesk Kynaspe in unity?

    I noticed that Unity is going to put some new form of path finding solution into Unity3D as stated in the unity road map blog.

    I would love it if unity put in Autodesks Kynapse technology into unity3D.

    Do you think Kynapse would be a great solution for unity's pathfinding system?

    No. For one reason ... anything Unity can afford to create and maintain themselves is safely integrated and maintained no matter what the other parties decide to do. Also a pathfinding solution natively integrated into Unity is way closer to Unity's own tech and can be adjusted to their needs perfectly.

    What I saw in the keynote seemed pretty cool. So what is Kynapse able to do that Unity's solution isn't?
    That's an honest question. I'm not that familiar with Kynapse.

    Which part of the key note had the Path-finding solution for unity?

    I saw it and I have to say I like unity's solution better.
