    Hi there,

I'm currently going crazy trying to figure out what could cause this:

I have (currently) 1 model in my scene that is rigged with the CAT in 3DS Max, it's not using any animations yet, merely being used to position my character how I want him. Later he will be animated too.

This model, however, is the only model that seems to not be affected by the directional light in Unity. (It remains a dull, un-lit model).

Here is my testing so far:
    • I have exported it without the CAT and it worked FINE. Therefore it's something to do with the CAT structure?
    • I have tested it with a different material
    • I have ensured the 'main colour' is white and not the default grey
    • I have moved the directional light to double check and test the normals are correct
    • I have exported it with another model in the scene, and that model remains correctly lit, whilst my rigged model was unlit

    [Further testing since original post]
    • I have tried adding a CAT/Biped/Bone to another model just in case. This produced the same affect

This problem ONLY occurs when exporting to Android (hence being in the Android Development section). It looks fine when testing on the PC.

Please help before I tear all of my hair out! (What's left of it any way :) )

My next suggestion would have been to recalculate the normals on import :)
