Hi, Never posted on unity forums before so tell me if posted this somewhere wrong, kay? So I wanted to go about writing a shader for my character and enemies and in general, all objects that can be damaged. So the hit object should flash red when hit of-course. So I thought of declaring a float which would multiply with a color set on the emission channel. I'm forced to use the 5.67 version of unity as I have a 32bit machine so no shader-graph as you can imagine. My modelling and texturing style has been tuned so as to make explicit use of Unlit Shaders So this has to be done explicitly on a unlit shader. If not possible I understand but please do reply. How would I go about doing this? I'm a beginner at writing shaders so please be gentle.
