    hello people
    I'm beginner in Unity's network
and I'm having some doubts about creating a massively multiplayer game

My first doubt is! : And very complicated to make a server that is unlimited, since it does not need to save a lot of information, just as some essential
position of the player (Transform), rotation, name, and can send an RPC

so it is possible to make a free server unlimited with these options?

    ----
"Why not buy a network server ready?" :
why I want to learn more things in unity 3d and other different languages, so that when I need to modify something, not be limited to the developer created but you can create your own tool!

if possible someone could tell me how to start? WHAT study? where to find. etc.

First: If you don't already know the answer to this question, you probably shouldn't start doing a massively multiplayer game.
Try first doing a smaller game.
It's like someone without a driver licence, asking which is the best tire for a F1 car. Get your driver licence, train yourself on some racetrak.
And after 2 or 3 years start competition. And if you are lucky after 10 years you will drive a F1. (I'm not a car specialist, but I didn't find a way to explain it better)

If you study a little the subject you will see that a server that can handle an Unlimited number of player don't exist yet :)
I only have experience on FPS type games, but I suppose, you can probably put a few hundred people on a server for a MMO.
If you want more people you need more server connected to each-other.

There are no free servers, this is a very expensive and time consuming to thing to develop. There are only paid options unless you build your own from scratch.

Yes some server (for example mine) uses Lidgren, but Lidgren is not a networking server. It's an UDP library for sending and receiving messages using UDP.

dude even Blizzard has a player limit on there servers. thats why when you try to enter a Full realm you have to wait in line to get in.

You should start learning how to even run a server first by trying out premade stuff like fholm made or even going with photon or smartfox cuz coding a server on ur own without any previous knowledge of how to do it is alot of hard work with alot of WTF out of your mouth.
