Unity's Mono Develop can't handle Optional Parameters

    I recently downloaded a really useful resource, Unity Serializer. I'm liking it so far, however there is only one issue.
    When one builds using monodevelop errors are produced due to the use of Optional Parameters.

    You can turn off building in Monodevelop, then you can get around the errors produced by the parameters. However, this means that you cannot view errors is Monodevelop which i'm finding rather annoying to be honest.

    Any chance of Unity's Monodevelop getting updated to handle building with Optional parameters, or perhaps a fix?

    If not, are there any IDEs that can compile optional parameters correctly and display Errors in the IDE rather than having to view them in the unity editor?
