UnityPlayer.dll caused an Access Violation

Hi guys.
This is one of my first posts on the forums, since I have managed to be fairly independent while working on my projects, where any problems I encounter I can poke around in the forums or look at reddit posts and find community solutions.
However, recently I find myself facing a problem I have not been able to find an answer to for the last few days and it is getting on my nerves.

Here is the problem. If I try to use my Intel HD Graphics 5500 card to run my built game, it will instantly crash.
My computer has two graphics cards, an AMD Radeon one and an Intel one.
If I enable only my Radeon card, the build runs, but everything is at a horrible framerate.
If I enable only my Intel or both cards, the build will instantly crash.
Additionally, if I have my intel card activated, the editor will run perfectly fine at an excellent fps.

When building to WebGL, the product also works perfectly fine.

I have tried:
updating all my graphic card drivers,
restarting my computer,
reinstalling and installing the newest version of unity,
testing on a completely empty project

all which have not worked.

I have a Lenovo Y40 on windows 10.

In the past I have been able to run 5 copies of the build at once at a perfectly fine framerate.
All these tests in this post have been completed with a completely empty project, with the default scene of a light and a camera, and it still crashes.

It is getting on my nerves and I would love any effort to help me.

Unity should never crash. If you can reproduce the issue, could you please submit a bug-report following the advice given in this document?

Unity's Bug Reporter tool collects various information about your system, such as driver versions, log files, etc that helps them to identify the problem. If the player crashes, it normally creates a "crashes" directory next to its .exe file that contains a crash.dmp file. It proved useful to attach this crash.dmp and log file to the bug-report as well.

Using the bug-reporter is an important step, because it makes sure the report is in Unity Technologies bug-tracking pipeline. Using the forum is often used to add attention to an existing issue, but does not replace submitting a bug-report.

It's from advantage to attach a project to the bug-report that UT can use to reproduce the issue and test their fix against, this is especially important for crash-bugs.

The easier an issue can be reproduced by QA, the more likely it is to get forwarded to a developer, who might or might not work on a bug-fix for that at some point.

After you submitted the bug-report, you receive a confirmation email with a Case number. UT often asks us to post the Case number in the forum thread, which allows them to find that bug-report if they look at your post.

Following these steps will increase the chance that UT is looking at the issue tremendously.

 

Hi @Peter77 , I appreciate the copy paste, but unfortunately if I knew what the problem was or how to recreate it I would probably be able to submit a bug report. Unfortunately I believe it was because of a windows 10 update or something, and so I was hoping somebody on the community could perhaps provide some useful pointers or information on their own experiences with this problem.
