    Hello,

I just migrated to Unity5 and built my game with it.
I got a problem with the Android build, when I launch it on my device I can see noise (like old TV with a very poor receiver). I tried to screenshot it from my phone, but it's impossible (the screenshot is clean).
I recorded it with my other phone to show you the problem :

I added pictures to the thread too.

The device is very hot too. I checked CPU and everything is ok. The game is very simple, it uses 300 tris !
I didn't have these issues on Unity 4.6.

I tested on an OnePlus One, a nexus 5 and a LG 8.3.

Thank you in advance for you help and sorry for my english :)
    Spoke.

    EDIT :
    I tried :

    In the Player settings :
    I enable :

Use 32 bits display buffer (that helped a lot !!)

    I disable :
    Multithread batching
    GPU Skinning
I choose Force Open GL ES 3.0

I tried to activate multithread batching and GPU skinning independently, I saw some artefacts, but not too much. At this time it's ok, but when I leave the app and come back to it, it's horrible :/
The device is still very very hot, I don't know why !

Have you found any solution to the noise bug?

    Hi,

I think the noise have been fixed in Unity5.x because I don't have them anymore. Apps on OnePlus One are still hot sometime, I can't figure why but I use to live with it. It's probably more a OnePlus problem than an Unity bug.

My Nexus 5 heats up tremendously (as well as a OnePlus device we have).

In both cases the FPS is great, but the device heats up to an unacceptable level. We don't have a noise issue.

Hey Guy, did you figure out your overheating? I'm running a scene with just some basic UI and my Nexus 5 gets really hot too.

    Hey buddy,
Nothing specific I can recall. You do need to work with the profiler and optimise as much as possible. Graphic processing will get your device hot.
Make sure to atlas textures/sprites, reduce draw calls, free unused memory (be extra careful with texture memory).
