I've submitted a bug but I'll post it here to in the hope it will get fixed very soon.
Calling Application.Quit on an Android build crashes when the application exits on the target device.
It does this on a blank project with only an AndroidManifest that enables anything, internet for example.

What's your test device? I've recent released few updates using 4.5.0 and all were quitting fine on my test devices...

It's a nexus 7. It does Quit the application fine but not cleanly. The user won't notice anything but you get a tombstone every single time with a stack dump.

Just tested one of my apps and checked two development devices (Tab3 & KF HD) for tombstones, all clean. Unity posts bunch of "unregistering jni method" on exit to logcat but no crashes... Maybe its the device or Android version on it?

It's version 4.2 of android on a nexus 7. I initially thought it was a prime31 plugin causing it, but prime have also replicated it I. A blank project, same as I have. To make it break the manifest must have some permissions in it.

Well, project I've tested had com.android.vending.BILLING & android.permission.WAKE_LOCK in it's manifest. Maybe it needs some specific permission, which ones you're using?

Internet was the one that knocked it over. I've had a response from unity and they have suggested updating the android version to see if that fixes it so I will try that before wasting any more time on it.
