I never had this problem with the 2019 version. The materials are all default, HDRP shaders. The textures are from a texture atlas.

I don't know how to fix this since I've never come across this problem until now.

Do you maybe load materials from asset packages? If this is the case, you might need to recompile the packages. I have this a lot, whenever I change something in HDRP settings.

No. I made these materials in 2019.4.28, I just exported the materials & mesh.

I'm going to try creating a new outdoor scene & see if it fixes anything. It's just a bit frustrating because I spent a fair amount of time tweaking the materials, have them work properly, & this happens after migration.

If your materials are based on shader graph shaders, it might be worth opening the shader graphs and recompile those. There is also some material upgrade functionality in HDRP to upgrade from older versions.

It was just the default HDRP material.

I ended up creating a new scene with a new volume it seems to have fixed the problem. I think I may have caused the issue anyway. I was using the sample scene & was deleting volumes (what I thought were unnecessary stuff). I should have started with the outdoor template instead.

Thanks for the ideas though...I'll definitely keep those in mind if I run to other problems.
