Unity2017 and Daydream Distortion

    Hello,

    I have been searching for days about this.
    I need to build an application for DayDream in order to use the controller using Unity2017.
    Yet we are using a custom headset prototype and we need to replace Daydream distortion by a custom distortion.
    I couldn't find any option to disable the lens distortion. The option under the daydream developer menu still display a barrel distortion.

    I don't think there is any way to replace the distortion in Daydream. That is driven by the Google VrCore service on the phone and not something that Unity can do anything about even if we had that ability.

    The Daydream controller is only supported with Daydream headsets and Daydream-ready devices. You can use your custom headset with Cardboard if you build a profile for it with our profile generator: https://vr.google.com/cardboard/viewerprofilegenerator/ Unfortunately, we don't support the use of the Daydream controller with Cardboard apps.

    Is there a viewerprofilegenerator for Daydream too or may be a way to access the Google VrCore service mentioned in order to change the distortion coef ?
