    I am pretty certain, it is utilizing certain elements of the XR API. Also at Leap Con a few weeks ago, they announced ML will be part of the main version of Unity with 2019.1 (If I remember correctly). At that point, I assume they will be merging the api's a good bit. Hopefully.
