    Good morning.

I have Unity 2019 version 4.1f LTS running under Linux on my Chromebox PC, but now it won't run, I think due to lack of memory and/or hard drive space on the box.

I attempted to download Unity 2020 last week to run a new tutorial and it wouldn't download or install due to lack of space.

I've deleted a few non essential files, and it still won't load, I can't bin my Chromebox and buy a Windows or a Mac, but I need some help! My Brother can't help me as he's always busy with work and the kids.

Make with the helpful comments please! I know Chromeboxes aren't "cool"

If the issue is you need more disk space, you'll have to free up or add disk space. If the issue is you need more memory, you'll have to add more memory. I have doubts that a Chromebox supports expandable memory.

The problem with Chromebox isn't that it isn't cool, but that it is not designed nor equipped to do the work you are asking of it.

It seems that I have the same problem here. I'm on linux mint 20 Alyana. I could download the unity-hub cause it's on the software manager but I can't install any version of unity due to the lack of memory but I have the memory needed. My pc is from 2019 but I didn't really make a use of it so it almost like I only put an OS on it and then didn't touch it for month.Any leads pls ?

Have you tried uninstalling your previous version the 2019 Unity and after that installing the 2020 one? You can do this in Unity Hub under the Installs section.

You could also backup any Unity projects you're not currently working on and delete these, as they often take up a lot of disk space.

But as Joe said, it would be better if you added an extra hard drive to your PC to avoid these problems.
