Unity Won't Open ANY Project

This solution is Excellent and works for me!!!

 

I'm entirely new and this problem came up I want to open a project and open editor to start making games but it opens for a second then closes and says (Project failed to open this project is not valid) I have a valid free license I don't know what's wrong it has private Internet access unity hub [3.4.2]

 

if you have your internet change for some reason chnage it back and it should open

 

I was also a licensing issue. I don't know exactly why, but the serial key had expired.

 

Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try:

1. Make sure you have the latest version of Unity Hub installed: Check the Unity website to make sure you have the latest version of Unity Hub installed.

For me it was a licensing issue, just needed to request a new personal license.

I have resolved the error by renewing the Unity license. and readd

 

just in case, Eset deletes some dll on Unity 2022.3.2. Which causes the editor to never go beyond the splash screen and crash.

It happened to me in the Unity Hub 3.5.0 version, it was just updating it and it stopped opening any Unity project.

Analyzing forums and solutions (none worked for me) I realized that my Pro license had expired.

I removed it and put a free one and it worked perfectly for me.

P.S: Check if your license in "preferences gear > Licenses" has the active license.

Are you quitting out of the Unity hub as soon as you click on a project? If so, don't! Keep the hub open until the unity editor app is fully launched!! (Apparently not, judging other answers. Could someone mark this as resolved?)

 

I am having this serious issue with my friends unity thing not working and having hard time trying to figure out why she can not open any projects. I have done everything i can think of.
