Hey Unity Wakeup, someone trying to take your lunch money....

They just made available CRYENGINE subscriptions available on Steam
    http://store.steampowered.com/app/220980?snr=1_41_4__42

    Starting at $9.90/m
    $9.00/m billed $26.99 for 3 month
and as low as $8.33/m billed $49.99 for 6 months!

I reason for post is not to pump up someone else engine in your forums. But to make you aware of it and to suggest that you immediately respond by adding Unity Free to Steam and for god sakes add Steam Works / Workshop support to Unity

Also adjusting price of subscriptions and get those subscriptions so that people can order them on Steam.

Why Steam cause lots of gamers and Indie game developers on Steam and more they are going to just go there and press subscribe. Plus more and more Indie game developer software deeply discounted with license limited to commerial use on Steam is becoming available on Steam.

So why not dust off those subscriptions that many hate and create Steam limited license at much lower price and make them available on steam. So basically stuff created and only be sold on Steam using Greenlight (or what ever they will call it next) or made available for games support Steam Workshop.

Honestly don't miss out on all the excitement going on with other gaming engines cause he who misses out ends out with someone taking their lunch money...

I would support that idea, and having unity on steam with the sub would work too. I support that message, but in not as dramatic styling.

sorry i missed the existing thread, i even did web browser search of the titles, most likely cause of the title "CRYENGINE now available" is not a good title because it does not even mentions Steam...

maybe some mod could merge the threads and change his title to read "CRYENGINE now available on Steam"
