As an Asset developer I spend a lot of time making sure that things work across the different Unity versions. There are times where I'd like to know when a call was introduced to the API (the new Undo system in 4.3 for example).

The new API History page is nice, but it would be even better if that information was available for each reference page. The MSDN docs in particular come to mind as being a good example.

You have my full agreement on this :) As you may remember, there was a history page in versions of Unity up to 4.2 but it was unfortunately lost during the start of the upgrade to our new doc systems. Since the history information was evidently greatly missed by users, we preferred to get it back in the quickest way possible (adding it to the pages will take some more work). However, it should really be present as a piece of information on each page and also should be usable as a search criterion, ideally.

+1. I did try to do something like this in my Unity Docs Browser but the changes in format for the docs make maintaining it impossible.
