unity upgrade

    we have unity 2.0 atm, we know theres a 2.1 out there, in fact we have the patch downloaded already... but we are wondering if you guys have come across problems during the upgrade. Have you had problems or weird behaviors on your currently projects when you upgraded your unity 2.0 to 2.1??? we are afraid that we could get some issues after patching. thanks.

    No, we didn't have any problems. Okay we had one really minor one, but that's because I was using a weird Editor API that wasn't locked down yet and I was also probably one of few actually using it. So I had to change a few lines.

    Just backup your project folder and try it. If you want both Unity versions running just in case, rename the folder in Applications to Unity 2.0 and it won't be overwritten when you install 2.1.
