When I try to import the package (either directly from git or via uncompressed zip), Unity tells me there is no manifest file.

[https://github.com/UnityTechnologies/InputSystem_Warriors.git] does not point to a valid package repository. No package manifest was found. Verify the repository URL and make sure the package is located in the root folder of the repository.

How do I import this package?

Sooo... I'm guessing it's not supposed to have a manifest.json file... Pitty. Would have been nice if this Unity package was importable and came with all the bindings already in place. At present, a user must have knowledge as to how to connect all the animations, scripts (etc) to make this tutorial function.

Hey there. It's definitely an issue with the Unity project itself, not the UPM.

I'd suggest reaching out to the owner of the project. Contact details are in the Readme.md
