Question unity terrain showing green distortion

this is my first post on this forum so forgive me for any mistakes(if any). my problem is that in the editor and build game both a part of my terrain has some green distortion. But when i click on the terrain to edit it, the distortion dissappears.


It happens in the scene view as well --



But it disappears once i start editing the terrain --
