Hi, im trying to add a teleporter to my scene for the oculus go,

is there a good tutorial for this or an asset I can download that will work,

id found a great tutorial but got lost when it told me to add a gaze pointer prefab, I couldn't find one anywhere in the oculus integration assets?

ive tried many different tutorials now, and downloaded a few different assets,

I now nothing about scripting yet, I just want to be able to move around in my scene please

    thanks, andy

Theres nothing too difficult here - Its all pretty standard, same way you would move from any postion to position coupled with a raycast.

Just raycast from controller, specifying a layermask for the ground so it only hits things on the ground layer, then if it hits, get that point, and set your player gameobject position to the hit point.

That's easy to say, but not for a beginner like me.:(

So perhaps go do some tutorials on raycasting, and moving objects? Here, I have compiled a list of what you need, if you work through these you will know everything you need to do this:

Tutorial on raycasting - to actually fire the ray for checking:

    https://unity3d.com/learn/tutorials/topics/physics/raycasting

Another on raycasting for things - just another way of doing stuff:

Unity Layers - one way to check what the ray hit:

    https://unity3d.com/learn/tutorials/topics/interface-essentials/layers

Tags - another way to check what the ray hit:

    https://unity3d.com/learn/tutorials/topics/interface-essentials/tags?playlist=17090

Object movement - you want to move the object via its transform, this should cover that in some way:

Thanks for these, I’ll go through them now, been struggling to get a working teleporter in unity 2018, I was using the github fusedvr gear teleporter in unity 2017, but doesn’t work in 2018.
