Discussion Unity Technolgies Deprecated assets

Hi all, I was wondering if anyone may be interested in setting up a graveyard at github for Unity Technologies depreciated assets?

I'm thinking about the various tech demos that are no longer available but full of great techniques, I still refer back to the old Unity 3 projects on occasion and still find them really useful refrences. Just leaving them in their final state, no upgrading or anything to run on recent versions.

I feel like the community is missing out on not having them as a references.

@OfficialUnity - is there any issue with this? I understand why these have been deprecated and are unsupported but being able to reference abck to them is incredibly useful.

 

pretty sure they wont allow it, even though it would be really useful and needed.

previously i've asked permission:
- To archive/share unity wiki (not allowed),

- Sharing deprecated asset from Unity (not allowed)

but do try contacting the support and try to convince them
