I am using Unity 5.4.0 p1, I tried to install it in Elementary, but when you try to open a project, whether new or old is displayed the following message:

OpenGL 2.0 is required. Your GPU (Mesa DRI Intel(R) IGD ) or OpenGL drivers only supports OpenGL 1.4

Probably by using an old machine it is not compatible with OpenGL2.0 or higher. Is there any version of Unity for Linux that works with OpenGL1.4?

    Excuse my English,thank you.

No, there is not. In fact, even 2.0 is being dropped in unity 5.5. Could you tell your system specifications? Maybe you simply do not have the right drivers installed.

TheDiamondPlay is right, something is definitely wrong with your linux setup. The intel gfx driver should report at least OpenGL 3.3 on any system that is not at over 7 years old (or something like that). More info about your system should help understand the problem.

I was searching on the appliance to be specific, and when you find the video card(GMA3150) I googled on how to enable OpenGL2.0 in it, so I found the following tutorial on AskUbuntu:

    http://askubuntu.com/questions/19607/how-to-enable-opengl-2-0-and-webgl-on-gma-3150

I followed it and it worked. I thank the two who responded, because with the answers I could investigate more the error and find such a solution.

Although it has not worked the Unity, has waged a long, but the topic was addressed, should be locking by setting the machine (Intel Atom 1.8 GHz Quad Core with 2 GB of RAM)

Good to know! But the saddest part is that unity 5.5 will not support OpenGL 2.0 and requires 3.x or better :(
