    Hello there.

I've updated from 2021.3 LTS to 2022.3 LTS. Everything is NOT smooth so far but I can manage (this one kept me busy for a while... https://mastodon.gamedev.place/@aras/110577306632382968).

It worked until this morning. When I'm trying to open my project it's stuck on "Apply active color space".

I ran for hours and still not opened. I've tried removing the Library folder, no luck.
I've try updating to 23.1 beta, not luck either.

    Any ideas?

Maybe try a non-beta: 2023.1.2f1 is the most current.
    Probably won't change much though.

You should check the editor.log if there's anything in there that may hint at the cause of the issue.

I forgot to include the logs, but nothing really special... upload_2023-7-4_19-5-33.png
I'll try 2023.1.2, I assumed that because 23.1 appeared as a beta, it wasn't released.

    Hello,

Would you kindly please report this issue via the Bug Reporter tool?
    https://unity.com/releases/editor/qa/bug-reporting

It could be some file in your project causing this, so without being able to see what's what in your project we can't really say why this is happening, but then again does this happen on a new project?

If you decide to report this please add this forum thread link into the description.

Please make sure to attach any visual material of the issue so that when testing our CQA team can verify that they got the same results. If you can, please use this template:

    How to reproduce:
    1. Open the attached project
    2. Do this
    3. Do that
    4. Select this
    5. Observe that

Expected result: Something is visible, something is printed or something happens
Actual result: The opposite of what I expect happens

Reproducible with: Editor version I am using (e.g: 2021.3.xf1)

Reproduced on: The OS I am on (e.g: Windows 11, macOS Ventura 13.1 (Intel/Silicon))

This morning I tried to remove the Unity cache (from /home/username/.config/unity3d/cache -I'm on linux-) and it finally opened the project. I'll keep you in touch and do a report if it happens again (I hope not).

Don't suppose you found any other solutions? I'm also on linux and I tried your solutions and deleting the library folder. No luck. gonna try leave my PC running to see if it can get past "apply color space"
