Unity Starting server error

    So I wanted to work on a project today, and all of a sudden I get a "Starting Server" message and a few moments later, it gives a error saying "operation timed out" and doesn't let me go on to work on my project. Even without internet, it doesn't let me do any projects at all. Here's the log.

    Hello,

    same here. Today I've installed Unity 2017.3. If I try to load a project I get the error message: "Failed to start Unity Package Manager: operation timed out." My errorlog looks similar like the one above.

    I think it could have someting to do with the firewall settings on our network, but every time I get this error different ports are used. So my question is which ports must be open so ensure a successful start?

    Same her with Unity 2017.3.0f3, I can't open any project (but could so previously). Also other UNity versions work like 2017.2.
    Meanwhile I made an Update from Win7 to Win 10,I will try a reinstall. But I also know that something was done with a Proxy (it is at my workspace).

    I want to update that in my case it was a proxy setting.

    Default / None, whatever that was. Someone set up a proxy on my machine and it simply was reverted. Again not my personal machine.

    this happens to me sometimes, for example, yesterday i was using unity without problems.
