Unity Speech To Text

    I have gone through a few videos and questions here asking if this is available in unity. Some videos show that it is possible to use speech recognition for specific keywords. I was wondering how you would be able to convert the speech into text stored in a string rather than listening for that specific keyword.

    You can use Google's speech to Text API. This needs integration of Python with Unity.

    Took a look at it, it seems that it requires connecting to the cloud for it to work. Are there any ways to make it work without having to connect to it?
