Anyone have any suggestions on how to fix a black screen in both the Unity Services Tab and Asset Store Tab?

To give more context, we're getting an error in the console about metal editor support.

We typed this command in the terminal which helped temporarily resolve it:

    /Applications/Unity/Unity.app/Contents/MacOS/Unity -force-metal

How do we permanently enable metal editor support so we don't have to continue to type this command in?

@SandJewel Hello, I am not seeing the metal error. But, I have the black screen for services and AppStore pages. My cursor turns to hand when I move around in the tabs. When I click it, I am going to AppStore webpage on my browser. So, visually the tabs are black. I checked the colors in preferences and there is nothing that can help. I tried the -force-metal command. NO luck. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

@HanumanthuReddy Unfortunately we could not fix it - we tried removing the window as a separate window, and all the advice you can find here on the forums to no avail. We ended up upgrading to Unity 2021, and that remedied the issue for us because we're running Unity on the newer version of the MacBook Pro with the M1 Max chip. We think there was a conflict with that. I hope you find a resolution!

I am having the same problem, and am unable to upgrade due to my game running in unity 2018 and already being released. Any help would be appreciated, I am also on Mac m1

How did you get it so that it would show the project as well?
