Unity says an object has a rigidbody even when it doesn't?

Disregard this: I'm an idiot, and didn't bother to check the individual pieces to see whether they were being affected by the code or not. When I dropped the scripted box (that adds a Rigidbody to whatever it collides with), I dropped it from above - so all the blocks were doing was being pushed down into their place in the wall, where they were fixed. I needed to approach from the side to 'pop' them out of place.

It's been one of those days...
