    Hello,

What steps should I take to get Unity iPhone running with the Unity Remote in full native resolution? As it stands right now, Unity Remote runs sluggish, is upscaled from 1x -> 2x, and has a chopped off display when using iPAD portrait.

    Any ideas?

Update: Even after setting the xCode project settings to iPad, the resolution still appears to be off from the scene view set in the according portrait/landscape view.

Also using the Build and Run option to cpmpile and copy the application over directly still appears to be off on the resolution. Any ideas?

    Thanks :)

Unity Remote does not support iPad yet. We have a beta with iPad support, so final version is to be released soon.

Huzzah! :D Thanks SO much. Having to build and run to check things like touch zones are where you want etc. is a serious pain in the buttocks.

Unity Remote is experiencing a "complete rewrite", so it may take some more time.

Well, its alive and working, yet it requires Unity 3 and cannot be used with Unity iPhone 1.x

I'm itching to get my hands on Unity3! Anyone have any news news on a release date? I REALLY want to be able to test touch zones easier for iPad+Unity apps.

In the new version of Unity free (3.3) you can use Unity Remote without having Unity iOs.
The setup was easy, I just had to open the app on the iPad and press play in the editor :O

I can see the game on the iPad and it gets some of the controls... I want to compliment with UT for the amazing user experience Unity provide, even for an non-hard-core-programmer like me.

Now, the question: how do I change the resolution of the graphics? They are really bad...

Controlling touches with the device while looking at the mac's screen is a bit annoying. And that even make some tests impossible (without building the app into the device itself).

I don't see in the near future "Native iPad Resolution" option will be present, thanks to the performance issues (there are input view delay issues even in this low resolution). Still, I hope some day this option will be possible somehow.
