Question Unity Remote 5 problem

    I've read numerous forum posts about this but nothing I do seems to fix it, I'm using Unity 2019.3.7, when I go into the project setting, editor, my phone doesn't appear in the list, when I press play in the Unity editor, it also just says Remote Not Connected.

    I am using the standard charger cable, would that be making a difference at all? It does also show up if I click on build settings, it just doesn't work or show in the game menu when I press play.

    I downloaded the SDK from Unity Hub, I'm not using android studio.

    can someone help me with this?
