    Hi everyone,

I have a problem in Unity.
I have a lot of objects in my scene. The windows, doors, window sills, ... are alle separate. Ofcourse to keep some structure, I store them in empty gameobjects per house. I do this because of instancing.

Now, today I checked each house in my scene and noticed that some houses lost there windows and others. So I replaced them with new once. Afterwards, I saw that all of a sudden other houses now got the same problem
So Unity is like deleting objects without noticing me.

Can Unity only handle a certain amount of objects? Has anyone had this problem?
I attached a screenshot to give you an idea of how I worked.

    Thanks in advance.:)

Please don't necro-post 11-year-old threads. It's not useful AND it is against forum rules.

Start your own fresh post. It's FREE!

How to report your problem productively in the Unity3D forums:

    http://plbm.com/?p=220

This is a bare minimum of information to report:

    - what you want
    - what you tried
    - what you expected to happen
    - what actually happened, especially any errors you see

If you post a code snippet, ALWAYS USE CODE TAGS:
