Unity Pro and Android Pro

    If I'm an Android only developer, is it of any use to get Unity Pro without Android Pro? Or is Android Basic the same with Unity Free or Pro?

    The license comparison is really confusing because lots of features collide

    Android abilities do not change unless you purchase Unity Pro + Android Pro. You can get some use out of it (mainly the profiler - even though it can't profile on-device) but not $1500 worth.

    Thanks, I don't understand why Android Pro costs $1500 and you already need Unity Pro, platform addons are too expensive.

    For goddamn integration of any native plugins that is integrated into your projects.

    As far as I know, native plugins are available on non-Pro Android, unlike the standalone platforms, sockets are removed instead.

    Which unfortunately after inheriting a legacy codebase with so many 3rd party integrations, some require sockets.
