Unity, please add a subject field to the bug report window in the editor

If you submit a bug report using the editor, the email response you get back takes the first line or two of your problem, which is usually not very descriptive.

When having to deal with many bugs, this is not helpful. A useful subject line to reference each bug in your email client by, will make bug communications and feedback far more efficient.

As a workaround, if you manually make the first line of the report a subject does that help?

 

That could work, but I still think it would be better if they just added a subject

 

I haven't ever ran into any bugs, but I also agree, it's not that hard to implement a subject line. It's actually common sense to add one, so they can even triage the problems

if someone sends them a message saying.

My transform won't move, I'd push it back to later if I have another message coming in about Unity blew my computer up (LAW SUIT)

That's obviously more important than worry about why a transform isn't moving when it's prob your code lol.
