    It's not possible with the built-in settings, but it is possible if you write it using script.
    I prototyped this exact feature to demonstrate our C# Job System support for the Particle System:
    https://forum.unity.com/threads/particle-system-c-job-system-support.529284/ (see the second post, with the example project)

    It requires Unity 2019.3, and, it's far from perfect, as it's just an example. But maybe it helps you :)
