Unity Package Manager Error (Cannot connect to registry) on Unity 2018.2.5f1

    Hi,

    I've downloaded Unity 2018.2.5f1 to upgrade my project (I were using Unity 2018.2.1f1) and the attached image appears as a popup at project loading.

    Basically it says:

    Unity Package Manager Error
    Failed to resolve packages. Cannot connect to registry: undefined. No packages loaded.

    The problem is that I cannot even create a new project with Unity 2018.2.5f1, the version 2018.2.1 still works fine.

    I am using a MacBook Pro with the latest macOS (High Sierra 10.13.6).

    Is something that I can do to fix this issue?

    I tried to reinstall Unity several times and it didn't work.

    Finally removing /~Library/Unity/Packages and /~Library/Unity/caches seems to fix the problem!
