I am trying to bake a Nav mesh on several terrains in unity. When During the baking process unity allocates 12.5 GB of ram out of 32 GB available and freezes. Is there any way to increase the ram available to unity so that it uses more ram to bake the Nav mesh?

Unless there is something special about the Nav mesh system I am unaware of, Unity will just use as much ram as it needs. There isn't anything you can do to "force" it to use more.

There isn't anything special about the Nav mesh. Its just baking a nav mesh on 20 terrains and once it hits 12.5gb or in my more recent attempts 10.5gb Unity just stops responding and I have to force close and restart unity

Are you sure it is really frozen, and not just busy with the baking?

I Just scaled down the amount of terrains to fix the issue. Thank you for your assistance!

Yes, I look in my task manager and Unity Editor is "Not Responding" and my ram is no longer being Allocated to baking. Also it doesn't start baking in the bottom right of unity as it normally does
