So this is a REALLY dumb question:

With Unity games being able to load up in web GL will it be possible to have Unity its self available via web?

Or in the very least, have a remote playtest area that allows you to write and test code away from your typical work area.

Like have a cube on a terrain and be able to attach scripts to it.

Maybe this is a little niche, but I would certainly use it all the time.

No runtime code editing like that since WebGL is AOT compiled only

Well I would assume the compiling would be done remotely and then send back what you've made.

You can somewhat do it now using web-based remote desktop software such as OnlineVNC.

Yeah, but that requires a download and it's not something I can exactly do during lunch at work.

    Only for server-side software.

    I did not know that.
I should try this some time.

    Thank you!
