With the latest unity update, Unity no longer shows up in the windows volume mixer. My other applications show up fine (system sounds, spotify etc.) but Unity is just stuck on maximum volume.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

Also another anomaly, perhaps related to this issue, I was recording some game footage of our game using Open Broadcaster software and noticed that the Unity sounds would record only through the mic channel but not the system sounds channel. This was not the case before.

I am using Windows 7 and Unity 4.5.0f6

    Thanks!

This is usually due to programs (unity in this case) going through different audio drivers, and those driver's not having the mixing capabilities windows needs so don't give you the option...

What sound playback devices do you have on your system, just the one?

any audio pre-processor software which might make virtual drivers?
