Question UNITY MARS Room Scanning

    After scanning the room with a companion app, is there a way to use that scan in the unity editor.
    Place proxy's in certain places in the editor, then build the app out to the phone and the objects appear in the exact places. Could this be done without a marker also?

    Hi there! You certainly can use that scan in the MARS workflow. In fact, that's the whole point! :)

    Once you import the environment with the resource window you should see it show up as a prefab in the project, and an option among the environments in the Simulation View. With that environment selected, you can preview your app in that environment. Bear in mind that the phone won't scan the environment the exact same way every time, so you will want to leave some "wiggle room" in your conditions. For image markers, you can't directly include them in the captured environment, but you can modify the environment in the Unity Editor to add a simulated image marker and manually position it where you would like it to go.
