Question Unity long respond times

    Hi,

    So every time I click off unity to another window when I come back to Unity it can take awhile to respond sometimes minutes and its getting in the way of my productivity, when I looked into the issue it seemed similar to one caused by the oculus VR service but I don't have that on my system.

    I have 32GB of ram, AMD Ryzen 5 1600x.

    Any ideas what would be causing this issue?

    Try disabling 'Auto Refresh' in the preferences - Unity - Manual: Preferences (unity3d.com). If you disable this setting you will have to use Ctrl-R on Windows to recompile code or import new assets that have been added as it will no longer happen automatically.
