Question Unity loads from hub but never opens

Unity will not open from Unity Hub when I try to open or create a new project. Like others I've seen on here, the splash screen will pop up along with a loading bar of all its assets, but nothing else shows up after that finishes loading. When I try to open the same project again, a pop-up says that the project is already open, and I can see in the taskbar that the program is open, but no matter what I click, it never opens. I have tried uninstalling, reinstalling, restarting my computer, opening the Hub and project with the internet turned off, nothing seems to work and I have spent more than a couple of hours trying to figure this out. I have the latest version of windows and am on a pc computer...help!!
