Question Unity License and project ownership transfer

    I'm doing freelance contractual work on a game using Unity Personal License for a client. The client wants to publish the game using their company name and build it using their Pro Unity License. Is it possible to transfer the game to the client under their ownership and build it using their Pro Unity license? Do i need to buy Pro Unity License as well? The 'Tier Eligibility' section is confusing to me, it seems to suggest that my Total Finances should include my clients' gross revenue?

    I'm also asking in terms of the recent changes to the licensing structure. Their Total Finances are under the threshold in terms of Tier Eligibility for Unity Pro. Mine are under the Tier Eligibility for Unity Personal.

    "If you are a legal entity using the Unity Software, then your Total Finances are: (a) if you are providing services to a third party, your customers’ or clients’ gross revenues and/or funding (no matter what the source);"

    Basically Unity hates freelancers

    I still don't understand, does the client have to buy Pro license and do i need to buy Pro license as well? Sounds weirdly similar to 'double taxation' in terms of taxes. There is only one product, one owner (albeit the product ownership transfers from one owner to another at some point) - is the requirement for both parties to have a Unity Pro license?
